Jodots Kennel came about after we decided to raise dogs on our farm...

 
Our kennels mission is to raise healthy Yorkies that are
 
not too small that children cannot play with them and not over 6 pounds when fully grown.  We want all of our dogs to be playful and loving to there owners and families. 
 
All of our purebred dogs are APRI Registered with good conformation and representation of the breed.
 
We are licensed by the USDA and are members of the Quad State Breeders Association.
 
We are pleased to announce that we have added some Maltese to
our family along with a couple of Shih Tzu's.  As soon as we have some puppies we will add them to the puppy page.


 
Company history
In 1976 we moved to what is now Jodots Farm to dairy farm.  My husband and I did this for 18 years and then desided to switch to beef cattle.  With the idea of retirement in the near future we decided to find something that we would both like to do that would be fun for both of us.  Then along came "Dora"... she was like her namesake always exploring and into everything.  We were in love and so were the grandkids.  The next thing you knew we had two more Yorkies.  Then we were asked if we might be interested in purchasing an established kennel... the rest is history.

My real job is in health care and one of the Dr's I work with was looking for a pet for his home.  He and his wife came for a visit and fell in love with a young yorkie that only weights 3#.  "Jewels" spends her days with the Dr. and his wife at his office visiting with the patients when they come to see the Dr.
 
I have been told that "T-Bone" pulls the comforter down at night before going to bed with his owners.
